Neste has expanded its supply agreement with World Fuel Services to ensure Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel is available at more than 100 airports across Europe, creating one of the broadest SAF distribution footprints in the region.
The extended relationship allows World Fuel Services customers — spanning commercial airlines, business aviation operators, military, and cargo carriers — to access Neste MY SAF through their standard fueling arrangements, removing the need to negotiate separate supply logistics.
Removing the Availability Barrier
The scale of the agreement is significant. Limited point-of-need availability has been one of the most persistent barriers to SAF adoption, and covering more than 100 European airports in a single supply deal goes some way toward closing that gap.
World Fuel Services distributes fuel across hundreds of airports globally and serves one of the broadest customer bases in aviation fuel logistics. The partnership leverages that existing infrastructure to embed SAF into routine fueling operations rather than treating it as a specialty product requiring bespoke arrangements.
Covering more than 100 European airports in a single supply deal addresses one of the most persistent barriers to SAF adoption — availability at point of need.
Product and Certifications
Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel is certified to both CORSIA and RSB standards and can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% over its life cycle compared to conventional jet fuel. The fuel is a drop-in replacement — fully compatible with existing aircraft engines and airport infrastructure with no modifications required.
Regulatory Tailwinds
The agreement lands as European operators face tightening mandates. The ReFuelEU Aviation regulation requires minimum SAF blending levels starting at 2% in 2025, rising progressively to 70% by 2050. Broad distribution networks like this one will be essential for operators seeking to meet those obligations without disrupting their existing route networks and fueling schedules.
